Wildlife corridors are lifelines for species survival. At the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), our organization is actively working to protect and enhance these critical passageways, ensuring safe movement of animals and reducing man-animal conflict.
Through collaboration with the Public Works Department (PWD), National Highways Authority, and Forest Department, we are implementing mitigation measures to safeguard biodiversity in and around Tadoba.
Our efforts go beyond protected forests—we also focus on wildlife habitats outside designated forest areas, which are often overlooked but equally vital for species survival. By engaging with stakeholders and departments, we are implementing solutions to minimize the impact of highways, roads, and human activity on critical tiger corridors.
On 5th June 2025, World Environment Day, at Mumbai, our organization was recognized with the Species and Habitat Warrior Award by Maha MTB Mumbai Tarun Bharat. This honor highlights the importance of our mission and reinforces our determination to continue working for the well-being of both wildlife and local communities.
We firmly believe that preserving wildlife corridors is essential not just for saving species like the tiger, leopard, and wild dog, but also for maintaining ecological balance, water security, and the cultural connection people share with nature.
